OUR SIGNATURE PRODUCTS
The Chelsea Gem
Chelsea Farms is well-known throughout the West Coast for our “Chelsea Gem.” This petite beauty is a tide tumbled Pacific oyster. The method of growing Chelsea Gems is original, grown in tumbled bags suspended by buoys in the water. This creates a completely new flavor profile that is clean, sweet, buttery, with a delicate touch of brine.
Geoduck
Geoduck are the world’s largest burrowing clam and native to Washington State. Chelsea Farms was one of the first geoduck farms and is sustainably farming this crop in South Puget Sound. We use divers to harvest and plant these elegant clams. Find out about purchasing them through our wholesale company Neptune Seafood.
Mirimichi
Mirimichi’s are beach cultured pacific oysters that we grow in Totten Inlet. They are an example of the old school traditional beach oysters from one of the world’s best oyster growing bays, still ideally sized for half shell consumption. Totten Inlet is across the Steamboat Island Peninsula from our home, these oysters are farmed on a property we purchased in 2018 from a family who had been farming there since before statehood. These oysters are richer then Chelsea gems, they have a distinct Totten flavor, and frilly shell.
